Why Dr. Ben Thompson recommends Lenire

Doctor of Audiology and host of the largest tinnitus channel on YouTube with 195,000 subscribers.

Lenire is the most researched tinnitus device available, backed by multiple independent studies. It is not a cure, and it is not right for everyone. But when it is fitted correctly and matched to the right patient, it can make a real difference. The best results come when the device is part of a comprehensive program led by a tinnitus specialist.

What is Lenire

A clinically-proven device for tinnitus relief

Lenire is a non-invasive medical device that uses bimodal neuromodulation. Gentle sound delivered through Bluetooth headphones is paired with mild electrical stimulation on the tip of the tongue, helping the brain retrain its response to tinnitus.

The treatment works by activating two sensory pathways at once. The signals converge at a structure in the brainstem called the dorsal cochlear nucleus, which is where tinnitus is generated for most patients. The combined input helps recalibrate the misfiring cells that produce the phantom sound.

  • Two 30-minute sessions per day, used at home
  • Minimum 12-week treatment protocol
  • Personalized by your Treble Health audiologist

Clinical evidence

Backed by FDA approval and peer-reviewed real-world studies

Lenire's effectiveness has been confirmed in multiple independent clinics, with real-world outcomes consistently higher than its original trial results. This is rare in medicine.
